Rejected from LSE Econ before taking TMUA :(

Hey yall I'm supposed to sit for the TMUA in January. I got my rejection email this morning citing that my personal statement was the reason :( Honestly I thought they wouldn't even review my application until I took the test so I was super bummed out. Do you think they'll reconsider my application if I score well on the TMUA?
