tmua oct vs jan

im just wondering, by the comments ive seen it seems tmua oct was way harder than jan. is this gonna affect people who did it in oct and got slightly lower scores? because some unis will consider both oct and jan applicants together so am i at a disadvantage if i gave it in october? applied for LSE econ btw
