Seeking a Path to Scandinavia
Hello, 26y M seeking a path to Scandinavia.
I am strongly considering taking a master's course at a Swedish or Danish Uni, and trying to set up a career and life there after this. I'm fully American and have no path to any EU citizenship through my parents.
I have a bachelor's in Advertising and Public Relations, but I never really put it to use, because I graduated during COVID and ended up working in Maritime for 3 years instead.
I hope to use the master's to pivot into a project management role at a consulting firm or a different field. I think I'd be better at sales-based things, but I'm willing to try something in tech.
However, something that I noticed is that it seems like many Master's Programs at Universities in the EU lock you into whatever you studied in your bachelors, which is not ideal for me.
Basically, I'm very flexible and I'm willing to work in whatever in-demand field in order to get a sponsorship, I'd go back to Maritime as well as long as I can find an exit strategy.
I've even looked into the DAFT Program in the Netherlands as well, but really would prefer Sweden or Denmark. Are there any Government Programs similar with a path to career prospects and residency?
I'm also open to Norway, Finnland, and other EU countries.
