Just finished watching season one, which was amazing, but does it go downhill after?

Hello everyone, I recently finished watching Murder House and I thought it was phenomenal. But, I do feel concerned that since it was a such a good start, does it go downhill quickly or does the intrigue and curiosity of a good story stick for a number of seasons?
