Why did these lines happen only in the rink photos? Can it be fixed?

Hi, I found these lines on ALL the photos of the rink itself, the pictures I took of the players in the box didn’t have them. There was a clear barrier I was shooting through, but as you can see in the box photo, the barrier was there as well. I shot at various ISO and shutter speeds hoping to minimize, but the lines are still terrible. Was it somehow the light hitting the ice specifically that then hit the barrier? I also had a lens hood for the barrier but that did nothing at all. I also shot at various distances from the barrier, but no difference. What can be done in the future? Ive also tried some dodge and burn in photoshop but it’s not helpful since the red is so warm compared to the ice. Any help to salvage these is greatly appreciated!! I hope I’m not just screwed 😣😣
