Application for 189 skilled immigrant

Hi everyone, I graduated with an Electrical Engineering degree, have been working in Malta as a business analyst in IT for 3 years.

I’m assuming EE isn’t being considered as a ICT degree. If I do a part time diploma in ICT, during my job experience. Would the years of experience before my diploma be counted?

Also, is there a way to bag the “Study in Australia” points while doing a distance diploma from any AU university or do I have attend them physically.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!
