Natera scam - thank you Reddit angels!!!

Someone posted on this sub 25 days ago a thread called "Natera Scam" and after reading all the comments, I decided to call about my $749 outstanding bill that was about to be sent to collections. Natera billed my insurance $4,500 and they paid less than a dollar. So I called and asked what the self-pay cost would be and was told it was $349. I just paid that off and my balance is magically $0. A $400 difference! We already know the American healthcare system is beyond broken but I wanted to share this anecdote to encourage others.
