Ideas for getting supports out of this cactus

Sliced and printed this model without looking at the preview. Got most of the supports off but many are still stuck inside.

I’m about to go at it with tweezers/needle nose pliers and a cutter, but I’m wondering if many of yall have had this experience and what the easiest way to do it is.
