I’m genuinely rooting for Jimmy and beast games but episode 5 was a swing and a miss

I think my biggest gripe with this episode is the amount of hype that was built up for it and the disappointment that led to. I think I watched the navy seals flip off that helicopter at least 5 times within the build ups of what comes next, but then they just walked around for 15 minutes and found one contestant. It just did not feel like anything different to what would’ve happened if he used his friends. Jimmy has done 40 minute hide and seek episodes before and made them entertaining so I’m not sure why he chose not to do that here. I like the idea someone else mentioned of having the treasure chest as a bribe in the middle that people can search for instead of hiding to make it more intense. And then the pirate ship… Apparently there was a technical issue with it which is understandable but if that’s the case done advertise it a ton and get us all hyped up about it. It just let me feeling cheated. And lil yachty was just a bad call. I get they didn’t know how he’d react in the moment but it was cringe and made me feel horrible for the contestant who got out. I did actually like the tile game and the voting game and I’m glad this episode had more skill based games overall but there were just a lot of things that could’ve been done better.
