Mrbeast Did Deano Dirty
It was genuinely upsetting to see Deano portrayed the way he was. A person who was practically pleading not to be eliminated, showing vulnerability and emotion, didn’t deserve the villain edit he received. Despite making kind decisions throughout, his one goal was simple: to stay in the game.
What made it even worse was how everyone seemed to turn against him, as if his humanity and emotions were something to scorn. Adding a villain background score was uncalled for—he wasn’t a villain, just someone trying his best to navigate a tough situation.
Deano was dumb/emotional(one of these) to not take $1 million, but that doesn’t negate the fact that he was a good person. Deano deserved an emotional and respectful send-off, not a narrative that painted him as some antagonist needing to be defeated.
It's pretty certain that Deano is going to be eliminated. It didn’t need Twana acting heroically or the older guy being angry to validate his elimination. The MrBeast team clearly wanted a satisfying story arc to justify someone being sent home, but in doing so, they took away Deano’s dignity. All he ever wanted was to stay—and that’s not villainy; that’s human. And a good human.
Let’s remember him for his kind decisions and genuine heart rather than the edit that tried to distort his character. Deano deserved better.
