identify this species ?

hey everyone i’m suppose to be fostering these 2 snakes that are very clearly being kept terribly. they said they’re at least 2 years old. they’re being kept together in a 20 gallon. any idea on what specific species/local these are? they said they’re red tails but aren’t they way too small to be at 2 years old?
