Dog poop from one unleashed pitbull EVERYWHERE

I have lived on my block for years & this has been a consistent problem. There is a pitbull that is never on a leash & is never cleaned up after. There are at least a dozen poops in each of the small patches of dirt on the block. It’s on the sidewalks too & it’s huge. I get embarrassed when people visit because of how much there is.

The department of sanitation hung at least 10 notices in front of our apartment (the dog doesn’t even live in this building) last year for feces scattered in front of the building. 311 complaints have been filed. Besides confrontation, what else is there to do?
