Quick AWB Case Update!

At Tuesday’s Holiday Party Meeting, Attorney Cameron Atkinson summarized the recent appeals hearing, explaining to the CCDL membership how critical language is in the interpretation of law. Long established precedent of regulating dangerous AND unusual weapons is a misrepresentation of commonly owned firearms here in Connecticut. Now awaiting a decision once again, if our motion for preliminary injunction is granted, it could DISPOSE of the CT AWB while the case continues in court.

Thank you to Attorney Atkinson for speaking to our membership.

TL;DR: Your AR is NOT unusual, their argument is. We saw every punch coming, and met them with the history and tradition that says your rights don’t stop at our border.
