Do NOT use PearsonVUE!!

Just a warning, PearsonVUE is really as bad as everyone says it is!!!

I have taken 2 CompTIA tests in-person, which I've had no issues with and always goes smoothly. I scheduled one today for at-home because I wanted to try it out and I'm beyond fed up!!

I scheduled my test for 1/14 12:00 PM and then received a confirmation email stating so. Three days before the exam, I received a secondary confirmation and reminder for my exam on 1/14 12:00 PM. Come exam day (today), I follow all instructions given, successfully run my system test, and then attempt to check in at 11:30 as they instructed to do so. The page keeps giving me an error saying "OnVUE check-in can not be started at this time." So, I call their customer service line. I explain to the man that answered my call about the error I'm receiving. He tells me, "That's because your exam is at 6:00 PM." I said no it is not; I scheduled it for 12 and I have multiple confirmations stating so. He argues with me that it is indeed at 6:00 and even sends me a NEW confirmation email saying that it is at 6:00 PM now.

I said "When tf did you change my exam time without even notifying me?!" He then goes on to say that they do not change times, that is simply just how I scheduled it.. trying to blame me. I argued with him and asked why do I have all these confirmation emails and why does the CompTIA website say it's at 12:00?? He then puts me on hold to "find out" .... about 10 minutes later he comes back on and says "Yes, due to technical difficulties, it has been moved to 6:00" ....whatever that means. At this point, I'm just tired of arguing and being talked over, so I asked him "So, if I log on at 6:00, the test is going to work, CORRECT?" He then reassures me that it will work at 6:00.

Well, SHOCKER, at 5:30 I try to check in, and it is yet again giving me an error. Since their phone line is closed for the night, I started a chat with customer service who was absolutely no help whatsoever. She tells me over chat that my exam was at 12:00. At this point, I'm about to blow my lid. She opened a case for me. Whatever that is going to do, who fucking knows because they have been absolutely useless so far. I'm now out 300$ because of their POS customer service and will be calling back tomorrow to make sure they give me my money back.

I am beyond pissed. I took time off work to take this test and can't take it in evenings or weekends since I have young kids. Moral of the story, take your test in person.

EDIT: Some people did not read the post and only the title, I am clearly talking about in-home testing. I haven't had a problem in-person. I didn't know they were called the same thing and apparently that makes me a moron, bogus, and a creator of propaganda xD lolol, it's not that deep, it's just a mistake. But I can't edit the title so, oh well. Also, I contacted CS again yesterday and they told me I need to wait until someone contacts me.

EDIT: Resolved FINALLY - they gave me back another voucher code 100% discount, for free! It is scheduled for in-person now!
