If you had 400 dollars to spend at a specialty grocery store, what would you recommend or want to buy?
My partner and I received a gift card for a specialty grocery store, and thought it would be a fun opportunity to try expensive foods we've never had before and want to try as well as a few more expensive pantry staples.
-What expensive food would you recommend that you've tried?
-If you are not in the position to have tried expensive food items, what would you buy if you had a few hundred bucks of disposable grocery income?
Edit: The store is a local chain and most similar I'd say to a Whole Foods. It is a bit of a hike but I'm definitely willing to break it up into 2 maybe 3 trips over the course of a few months.
Edit 2: We are not picky eaters and I'm a pretty savvy home cook. We have no dietary restrictions.
