Humanoid Creatures

So this is something of a complaint, more of an "is it just me" question for discussion.

Does it seem like, to ANYONE ELSE, that the COS team has absolutely no idea how to animate humanoid/bipedal creatures? Or they just don't even care to put time into it?

My main issue started with this with verdant warden. They don't do much of anything with its hands. They just sit awkwardly on its body, even the reanimation attempt was poor for the upper half. The movement is awkward and the stance is silly.

Dantenos and xeternos were my second instance. They have no running animation, and while I can sort of see the appeal, it just looks clunky when you move over uneven ground. Their flight animations are also stiff and awkward.

Angelic warden has the same problems as dantenos and xeternos, with one exception. They gave it a run animation, but it just kind of looks like "galloping"? It suits angelic, and to be honest, angelic wears these stiff animations pretty well, but it's still the same issue.

Idrabark was my biggest complaint. Along with ani. They are the closest things to humans we have outside of jeff, who, might I add, is more of a joke than anything. The animations for idrabark are hideous. It's hands and arms do almost nothing, its run looks horrible, those weird spear vines stick out like a sore in the animations.

Ani is the only somewhat decent bipedal humanoid, and even Ani has a funky looking run.

I'm not sure if you're able to, but I wanted to propose a volcanic creature that is a bipedal humanoid. To be honest though, I'm almost afraid of how they'd butcher the animations for it. I would not want an idrabark repeat on one of my ideas in the unlikely scenario that it succeeds.
