Fortnite Lore seems unsalvagable.
Ok. So before you scroll past this post, hear me out. Over the past few years, Epic Games has given us some amazing Lore, Live Events, Comics etc. Everything tied up almost perfectly up until Chapter 3 Season 3 - Vibin' ± 2 seasons. Chapter 4 especially just doesn't seem redeamable, considering all the loose ends, and recently I've seen lots of Youtubers trying to put things together but Epic still gave us nothing of our expectations. The last 3 seasons have each started their own plot without continuing last seasons' plot, and arguably none of the Plots have been fully finished. If you don't believe me, here I made a list of loose ends and forced decisions that just don't seem right: - I refuse to believe The Cube Queen died to water. Where is she now? - Singularity ≠ Paradigm, allthough Paradigm getting a new face could be explained in lots of ways - Zero War issue 5 greatly differs from Collision - The Imagined is supposedly alive during C3S3 allthough she had died in Zero War - The Visitor goes missing during C3S3 but then we see him alive and well during C3S4 trailer - What did The Nothing want after all? - What happened to Bytes? - What happened to Jonesy after Fracture? - What happened to The Paradigm after Fracture? - Where are the Seven? - Why hasn't AMIE returned in over 1 season and a Half? - What happened to The Oathbound and all it's members? - Who is the Shapeless man? The Nothing? Geno? - How does Sylvie tie into the Storyline at all? - Is Mystica a pluxarian? Is she related to the Herald? - Who was the C4S2 Saboteur? Serenade or Triarch Nox? Are they a part of TLR? Where are they now? - Did Dalhia collaborate with the Saboteur? - Where are the Syndicates in C3S3? - What happened to 2 of Serenade's Monoliths? - What happened to The Herlad's Tree? - Why is the Chalice of Cubetastrophy important? Speaking of which, why haven't we heard anything more from Aura? - How does Princess Lexa tie into the Storyline? - Why did we not get a Live Event for 3 seasons in a row? Now, Epic brought Slone back. Not a bad surprise, but I'd rather have her stay dead and Epic start tieing together loose ends, as the Chapter is starting to come to an end. If the next season does not fix all of this mess, I don't think the Lore will be salvageable, and I don't like the new 1 season = 1 plot scheme they are trying to pull off for the 3rd time in a row almost.
