Anyone else here have bill paying anxiety?

My entire "adult" life I've dreaded paying bills and I would put it off as long as possible every month. It certainly stemed from having had a spot in my home where bills piled up until the end of the month then having to set aside a chunk of the weekend to write out a bunch of checks, balance the register, and probably run to the post office cause I ran out of stamps. It was such a time suck and gawd forbid one of the envelopes fall between the car seats resulting in a follow-up LATE notice in the mail.

The advent of online banking and auto pay has made the process super simple, but due to a life time of trauma I still end up putting it off as long as possible, so I decided to time my last bill paying session. Guys, it took just over 5 minutes! Why am I still dreading paying bills when it only takes FIVE MINUTES?!?

Hope all you GenXer's are feeling less dread and making the most of the free time that online bill pay has given us.
