Gen Z! what's an awesome dish from your childhood you still remember?
My grandparents used to make a potato-cheese bread recipe, which was just potato, cheese, flour, and egg. It was the flour, egg and potato mixed together to form the dough, which was rolled out and stuffed with cheese, a layer of potato, and another layer of cheese!
Closed it all up, and put a thin layer of butter on the pan.
Pan-fried, then cut like a pizza. Absolutely amazing when drizzled in a garlic-butter sauce. 10/10 childhood dish that I keep trying to perfect- hope to make it into a family recipe once I make my best version.
