Foreigners planning not ro leave Kenya
Ever since our president eased the acquisition of Kenyan visas to foreigners, especially Americans and also the European region, so many people from those continents have started doing a migration into Kenya, which is at a rapid rise. And I'm saying this because I recently watched a TikTok video of an American foreigner going around in a mall asking foreigners if they will ever leave Kenya. And the responses were alarming. I will mention a few below. The first one. The first person he asked said no, he will not be relocating back to his country, which was America. And the interviewer asked him why, and he responded, life is easier in Kenya. It's easier to get away with anything here as long as your pocket is full. Number two. He went and asked a second interviewee, and the second person responded that he will not be returning to his home country, but will be going to visit his family in his original birth country. The interviewer asked him why. His response, same as the first one, it's easier to exploit in Kenya. It's easier to make money in Kenya as a foreigner as long as you have money. So what is your opinion on our visas of Kenya being easy to first power country as we come and infiltrate our country? And also they cause an economic disruption, especially when it comes to property hiring and rent, such that they are able to pay a year's worth of rent, which has caused landlords to cause their clients to start paying in dollars because they have seen the surge of foreigners moving into their country. Do you think that our president should not have done this more in regards to accessibility of Kenyan visas?
