Passport - care leaver Englanf

Hi,

I'm wondering if you can help me. I need some advice regarding my passport. My leaving care support worker said that I would never be able to use my passport to leave the country e.g to travel. This could possibly be a lie since she was quite abusive. I've checked with the passport office and they said I could use it to travel. I was just wondering if legally they had to tell me if there were any restrictions, or had to be aware of any restrictions that social services might of put on it. Also could this be something my leaving care worker could have done to me?

I hope this all makes sense, if not forgive me I'm not very good at explaining things 😆

For reference - I already have the passport & I've cut off contact with my worker & Social services - im also 20
