New Engineering job is the same as my programming job for a 20k pay raise

I finish my degree this spring, but got hired on by a company before graduation. Its a manufacturing engineering role exactly the same as the role I was at before with a 20k a year pay bump. Ive seen people asking about engineering degrees here alot lately. Anyone considering an engineering degree it's worth it.
