Anti Holy Grail Products?

What are makeup products that were so hyped up but turned out being underwhelming or just bad overall? Makeup is personal so what works for you might not work for someone else& vice versa.

My Top 3 Antis:

Rare Beauty Foundations!!! I saw so many good reviews and decided to try it out. I couldn't make it work no matter what I did! I can see it being good on someone with 0 texture and skin concerns but it separated and looked awful on me. I've seen a handful of youtubers say it didn't work for them either but the comments on these videos usually are negative i.e YOU DIDNT PUT IT ON RIGHT or YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO USE A BRUSH or YOU USED WAY TOO MUCH PRODUCT!!! Lmfao 😭😭 Ma'am I would prefer to put on foundation the way I always do & not have to do 10 backflips, clap my asscheeks 24 times and then spin around. 🫂 The youtubers then end up making another video& they magically like it to do some damage control.

I personally think this is a raved product because Selena Gomez owns it, period.

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation This was the WORST! On clean girl aesthetic tiktok, this was considered top tier. It applies beautifully but get just a bit of sweat& you will get a mustache 😭😭😭😭 I've tried so many ways, I set it with fine setting powder, I tried to set it with powder foundation, sprayed setting spray my face a million and 10 times.... I still get a stache from where I sweat. My daughter came up to me& asked me why I had chocolate on my upper lip. It stuck to me till this day& every foundation I try, I make sure my upper lip doesn't look embarrassing.

KVD Liquid Lipstick Cracked tf out of my lips, I ended up looking like I had a bread with dry ass crack for breakfast. I've seen a lot of good reviews though.
