Complete Noob
Just started running 5 months ago! 31M, 5’6, 72kg. Last time doing real cardio around 6 years ago.
Current PR’s 5km 25:15 10km 54:00
Currently running 35-40km per week over 4-4.5 hrs per week over 4 running days.
The beginner gains are slowing down, and I think the max amount of time I’m willing to run per week is 5 hrs per week.
I want to run a marathon in November this year, and a half marathon sometime in July. What are realistic targets to have? It’s my first time for both.
Please assume that I will keep running 4-5 hrs per week, 4 days a week.
My progression is getting a little wonky and is no longer lineal. A little tough mentally if I have no reference for what’s achievable for us hobby runners. Please do share how you’ve progressed!!
