Do you personally prefer any of the base versions of the characters over their QSS counterparts?

For clarification: This is talking about personal enjoyability out of their kits, not whether they're personally good.

I'll start with Tech Toga. I definitely believe she's quite a nuanced (I'm glazing tbh) character now that her gameplay has shifted to utilizing transformations more often instead of her beta. That's low-key the reason I'm not a fan of the Rapid QSS as her quirk definitely regresses back to being a tool for cooldown resets and not much beyond that.

Second: Yellow Kirishima. Big damage numbers good. Monkey brain likes big numbers and punches sound crunchy. Guilty Gear Slayer main btw.

Third: Strike Shiggy. Combo characters will always be satisfying but I was definitely more interested in the decay mechanic whenever Salt Shiggy was announced, only to find out that it's a rather irrelevant part of his kit. Aside from that, I do have some bias as he was my secondary main from the beta and personally think he has some interesting ways of going about matchups even if his counters are absolutely abysmal.

Honorable mention: Tech Dabi. More so because red Dabi is just a lobotomized character, if that weren't the case then he wouldn't even be considered on my list as playing this guy genuinely feels like a different kind of brainrot
