2-Round Mock Draft (Post-Senior Bowl on 2/1/2025)

Key Notes:

  • I believe QBs will go at #1 and #2. Tennessee's HC Brian Callahan explained the things he's looking for in a QB, many of them are key aspects of Shedeur's game, and he went on to compare Sanders and Burrow as limited arm QBs who win with timing and accuracy. I think them selecting Sanders over Ward makes sense as tehy're moving on from the wild man Will Levis who threw away multiple games. Sanders best traits are his ball security and accuracy.
  • I believe Dart is clearly among the top 3 QBs and he's some teams QB2 according to Todd McShay. Additionally, Rapoport reported that GMs he's talked to project Dart in the mid 1st, that was in January. I expect the rise to continue with the combine and his pro day, and most of the teams in the market for the 3rd QB are in the top 10. I expect him to go top 10 to the Giants, Jets, Raiders, or Saints. If he isn't selected by those 4 QB needy teams, the next round of interested teams would likely be the Seahawks at #18, Pittsburgh at #21, or the Rams at #26. He should be in round 1 of almost every mock draft, very slim chance he falls to round 2.
  • Azareyeh Thomas, Mike Green, Walter Nolen, and Gray Zabel were the best performers at the senior bowl. The first 3 mentioned moved into the mid 1st round, Zabel at the top of round 2. Elijah Arroyo, another top performer, went mid 2nd round.
