Is my son actually hungry?

My son is 1 year and 3 months old, he eats like garbage disposal. Sometimes he refuses food but it’s not often, everytime I’m eating he asks for my food even after eating all of his. Even when I’m not eating he’s just asking for food and snacks all day long. He eats around 3 meals a day with ALOT of snacks and treats in between. He’s not fat, but he is a really solid and muscular baby. It just scares me how much he eats and he never really has stomach aches or anything unless he’s sick. Is this normal? Is he hungry or is he just bored?
