What do pelvic floor spasms feel like?

A pelvic floor specialist has been really popular on social media lately for making these short guided kegel exercise videos.

They’re ~1 min long and seemed low intensity, so I’d do one each day for last 7-10 days. Everyone in the comments jokes that this is the most consistent workout regimen they’ve ever had. The videos consist of flexing up your muscles and doing some holds.

This morning, I’ve woken up with a soft, repetitive pain in front of my bladder area.

It’s like a slow blinking light of pain, a few seconds off, one second on, repeat, consistently for a few hours now.

I’m wondering if this pain is pelvic floor muscle spasms or something else?

I’ll be stopping these little exercises to see if it makes a difference.
