How much cheese is too much cheese? 🧀
Sharing the important questions here 😂 so I’ve had 2 glucose tolerance tests, both came back okay but I keep getting 2+/3+ glucose in my urine each time. Midwife suggested it might be ‘pre-diabetes’ so have been told to watch my diet a bit closer incase.
I’ve read up on GD diet and make sure I pair my carbs with protein/healthy fats etc but my current go to is just lots of cheese 🧀 basically making myself a cheeseboard each lunch (thanks to the Christmas selections), cheese & cracker snacks and seem to have a craving for broccoli cheese (more cheese than broccoli) in the evening.
As much as I’m loving it now, knowing the way my cravings work I’ll be totally over cheese come Christmas. Any other suggestions of what to try? Aside from pigs in blankets 🐷 I’ve gone off most meat this pregnancy.
