Watching Leon's coming out episode and I have thoughts.

Let me preface this by saying that I am a lesbian who also had the same conversation with my mom at the exact same age.

This was so hard to watch. Leon was being so standoffish and not giving their mom a chance at all. They say they are willing to answer questions but get offended by every question asked. The questions being "are you still going to get married?" "Are you still going to have kids?". Bro that's legit, just reasure your mom.

This was Meri's only biological child she didn't see it coming. Never once did she say she had a problem with it. She was just sad that they weren't close enough to have talked about this along the way.

And of course Kody and Robyn were not going to be understanding. Kody has a million other kids he will probably see live out that "traditional" life and Robyn has a lot of those opportunities herself too.

I just feel really bad for Meri this entire season (11) and this was one piece of that pie.
