16 years In solar energy with 1 company.

I do not have a clue on how other companies operate. I am trying to figure out how much value I bring to the table. We are a small outfit so I wear many hats. I do whatever is needed at any given time. I could sell but choose not to. The question is : If we do 1.5 installations a week. How many jobs am I doing? Excluding sales and installing. How many employees should we have? Basically I am handed a signed contract and execute a variety of things like:

  1. All interconnect applications and state SREC incentives applications.
  2. Composing Entire permit package. Building, electric, fire. Occasional revisions if needed.
  3. Scheduling Installations with customer and crew.
  4. Working with homeowner and crew during Installation. Assuring consumer satisfaction on solar ascetics and access to home. Quality control.
  5. Scheduling rough and final inspection. Attending inspections, opening equipment for inspection, Assisting inspectors by answering questions and addressing issues on FAILED insp. to assure we pass in a timely fashion.
  6. Compose Part 2 of I.c. and file with utility. Occasional revisions to get PTO.
  7. File detailed AS Builts with the STATE to assure State SREC INCENTIVE acceptance.
  8. Walk homeowner through application and process for getting SREC money from GATS board.

Lastly communicating this process with homeowner every step of the way. Im leaving some stuff out.

How many people would it take to do this? My 16 years experience gives me the ability to handle this at a high level of efficiency and customer satisfaction.

If we are selling : Ave 9kwDc systems with Enphase Iqx+ systems with top tier panels for $3.20 a watt. Whats a good pay per job?
