Hive Mind Ascension

We’ve received a psionic and a bunch of mechanical ascension paths, but what do you all think about ascending into a hive mind? If you want to take it further, possibly have it become a crisis path where you attempt to assimilate all sentient life in the galaxy. What do you all think?
