Suno AI is scary

I'm a 6 year producer who uses FL studio and some of my friends showed me some Suno Ai songs the other day that they made about some of our mutuals. It was eerie to say the least and horrifying to say the most. It definetly lacked originality but honestly all of the most popular music already does.

It feels like I'm at the onset of a dystopian future and I'm not really sure if anything can be done at this point. Suno beat the competiton by essentially stealing copywrited music and since legislation is slower than technology even after it started spitting out literal rapper tags "Cash Money AP" there isn't much fallout for them.

I see the market becoming insanely saturated and a lot of really good potential producers will be lefy even more so in obscurity. There's already a plethora of really amazing artist who don't get many plays and going forwards that just seems like it will be a dying breed, hell even opening a DAW will probably be something for "old" people in 10 years.

Idk im probably in the wrong place with this post but im just concerned for the future. I personally feel like I'm lucky to have been on the other side and already put in my 5-10k hours but it's still frustrating to a degree to see people subvert all of the effort that real producers put in to use an AI that was trained by stealing their work without their consent.

Final thing is that ironically meta and some other large corperations were actually ethically devolping music ai by only using public domain songs or songs they had permission to use but then Suno undercut them by doing this method idk it makes me sad.

EDIT: I see a lot of people talking about how bad music is nowadays but I really want to know if you all are actually looking for music on soundcloud or just saying that because you recommended is mid on spotify. If you want to find good new original music go to soundcloud.
