Anyone work in international schools?

Curious if you experience any tension with Vietnamese culture intersecting with other international cultures and contexts?

Ive noticed in my school that the kids with all the serious behavior problems are wealthy Viet kids whose parents have totally ruined them. Its like the exact same set of problems copy and pasted across dozens of kids in the school.

Another issue I struggle with is noise. It's hard to help the kids who struggle in loud environments because its so normal to scream at each other here. Most of the Viet kids in my class use yelling as their regular speaking voice.

I struggle feeling like I'm bringing a colonial mindset sometimes. I don't want to come here and tell everyone to copy some supposedly superior western ideal but at the same time I do find a lot of the local norms very problematic.
