How to use a spore print I recommend getting an inoculation loop. Flame sterilize the loop and let cool. Dip into distilled water/sterile solution. Next smear a small area of the print just a tiny area. The spores will stick to the spore loop Next smear that direct center of your viewing plate/slide. You'll see a tiny dark clump remaining.(https://fungi.com/products/inoculation-loop)
Doing it this way you should have 99.5% of the spore print remaining for future use. That is all the spores you need to use. Store the remaining print in a ziploc bag/vac sealed bag kept in a closet, drawer or other dark dry place they can last for over 10 years this way.
