Boss keeps reprimanding me for sending emails instead of calling
I’ve got a new supervisor my therapist has called a “dictator” for many reasons, and she keeps reprimanding me for emailing people about projects and updates. She says that it’s because if we call or meet in person you can lie about anything made or said, is this normal?? I emailed someone from another department that we had some new things for them to test from a new vendor we were looking into and apparently that got my director into a tizzy because the person I emailed ended up emailing their boss who ended up calling mine asking about the vendor switch. She came down and gave me another huge long talking to about how she never emails and can deny deny deny anything she wants. I’m not crazy right? This is unprofessional and lacks any accountability?
