Couples: How much are you spending on groceries a month?

Hey! I know this has been asked before but considering it's a new year, what are any couples out there spending on food? We try to not eat out and our grocery bill is about $800 a month including meat. I find we go over a lot though. Looking to hear what others are spending and would love to hear any suggestions/tips to get it lower. Thanks in advance! :)
