Bikepacking with a Fenix headlamp
I really like my Fenix HM65R-T headlamp. It's bright, IP68 rated and it's easy to swap out fresh batteries that can recharged with just a micro-USB cable.

I've never found it comfortable to wear the headband under my helmet so I bought a mount for it.

After playing around with the mount for a bit, I wasn't satisfied with how untidy the sticky patch looked and it didn't seem very strong. So I purchased a square of the 3M adhesive that gets used for GoPro mounts.

I used a craft knife to cut out sections of adhesive to match the mount and contact points on the bike.
I'm pretty satisfied with the result and have done the same with the helmet I use for splitboarding. I think it looks pretty clean and it feels very secure. I also leash the headlamp to my helmet just in case.
Just thought this might be useful in case anyone else was interested in a similar setup!
