Why did everyone switchup on Black Ops 6?

I was grounded for roughly a month and a half, when I was grounded, people still thought Black Ops 6 was pretty good. I came back and suddenly I've seen people saying its one of the worst in the series, and its awful. I played it a few times since I've been ungrounded and it feels the same. The only problem I had was my classes had no names and no items selected. What tf happened?
