Patreon scam

I just came to let my frustration out because I’m naive and thought they at least slightly gave a shit about their fans. I knew the patreon wouldn’t be entirely consistent. They don’t even post on youtube consistently. But there hasn’t been a SINGLE month they’ve posted weekly as promised. Even had the fires not happened, they were scheduled to film AFTER they were due to have posted. They are taking money directly out of fans pockets for ZERO CONTENT. And now they just randomly dropped a video from last year? Why was this not posted earlier? I have cancer and therefore a tight budget. Being sick is expensive. Subscribing to my fav podcast’s patreon is my little special treat to get a giggle on the harder days. It’s frustrating I could have spent that money on a more consistent pod or a streaming platform instead. The people in the patreon comments are up their ass defending them and I am so done with it. “Everyone complaining is real quiet now huh?” NO. They are STEALING YOUR MONEY. Why are these people perfectly happy with it???? The only real perk was the chat and it’s dead now because all the cool people have finally had enough and unsubbed. (Yes I have learned my lesson and also unsubbed). The cancelled patreon is nothing more than a cash grab. The fact that they are so unbothered taking fans’ money says a lot about both of them.
