Politics In The Clone Wars

Currently on my 2nd rewatch of The Clone Wars then i will make my way to the bad batch (again).
But now that i'm older, i've taken an interest in the politics of the clone wars.
The episodes where palpatine is pretending as this docile old dude really give me the chills because of who he really is.
One of the most obvious moment of him slipping his mask for a moment is with his "threat" to that scientist saying she don't want to kill the zillow beast.
And all the scenes Padme fighting against some dumbass bill from getting pass despite the result is pre-determined by palpatine.
Its kinda nice to see despite both sides are being puppets for Palpatine. both political parties are just trying to do their best in their circumstances.
