Cheap boots worth it?

Looking to buy my first pair of cowboy boots, but right now im only in a position to spend around £200 ($250 US) at absolute maximum. But I've seen the more trusted brands like like Lucchese charge upwards of 400 on the low end.

My question is, should I just spend my £200 and risk getting lower quality boots? (One brand I'm seeing around this price is Cody James, which i gather is not very high quality) or save for something like Luccese?
