Winner 🏆 Defo Deserved

I'm sorry I keep seeing everyone discrediting and overshadowing Joey and Jenna on their win because of the ranking of contestants placed 2-4. Does it even matter?

Joey and Chandler both had amazing seasons. Was I a bit shocked that Chandler placed 3rd and not 2nd, sure, but not really. She's not that popular, we have known that the whole season. Joey was the most consistent contestant on the show (with no background, just pure talent!) and absolutely deserved his mirrorball, but to overshadow his win with something that doesn't even truly matter is insane.

Also, in terms of scores, he was ONE POINT off from tieing with Chandler at the top and was at the top of the leaderboard last week, too. This is not a shocking win. In fact, it is very much, dare I say, a deserved and unshocking win lmao.

And then, everyone is arguing saying this has become a popularity contest.... hate to break it to you, but it always has been. she didn't have the votes coming in, and unlike xochitl last season, Brandon is not a popular pro like val was.

We've been talking about this all week, you don't have to like the outcome, but don't become negative about the winner and runner ups because they are real human beings with real human emotions.

This is a good feel show that is supposed to be enjoyed, not bring you this much stress and anger. Yes it is a competition and I know we all have favourites, but that doesn't mean your favourite deserved to win over others. Dance is an art and very much subjective. Say your congrats, and go send positivity under your favs socials. It's actually ridiculous how some grown adults are acting.

Congrats Joey and Jenna, you deserved it and I've known from week 1 this would be the outcome because you've truly been that special and great all season!
