Dropped Out of BTech and built a decent business. Now I want to resume my education. Need Guidance!

I know the IT job market is rough right now, especially for freshers. But I’m curious—how do newbies or those who are here mainly for the "scope" and work-life balance survive?

I have an unconventional academic and career trajectory:

  • Had to drop out of my BTech due to some external circumstances.
  • After dropping out, I worked for a year in the admin department of an NGO, to gain real-world experience and also because the work was worth my time.
  • Then, I helped my family raise funds and set up a showroom business which took about another year.
  • Currently I am in between starting a new part-time trade and a green energy venture

Now, I’m considering resuming my education through an online Bachelor's degree while working alongside, either in a job (if I can get one) or a business.

The thing is, I don’t have a strong passion for core IT roles, but I don’t dislike them either—I can do them if need be. What I’m more interested in is management, analytics, and studying about businesses.

Initially I was pondering over pursuing a BBA in Business Analytics but I got mixed opinions, many claiming that an MBA is recommended after it, but due to my unconventional academic background, I doubt I will get a good B School. Another option is BCA/BSc CS which apparently has more "scope" but since they are core IT/Computer Science degrees, don't excite me as much.

What do you guys think? Should I go with a BBA in Business Analytics, BCA/BSc, or maybe something else altogether?
