Nitro Painting - is this all i need?

Hi everyone,

I'm about to embark on re-painting my 2004/5 Fender Standard Stratocaster.

Currently it has an aqua marine metallic poly which i absolutely loathe and plan on replacing it with a nice nitro shell pink.

Could you advise me on whether this kit is enough to get me through?

Grain filler (although I've read Alder doesn't really need it?). 400/1200 grit sandpaper. Sanding sealer. White primer. Shell pink nitro. Optional - clear gloss to finish

Ultimately, I want to have a guitar that will heavily relic as if it was from the 50's/60's.

Any advice would be most welcome :)

Thanks, K
