How can it get worse? The W Theory

I never watched the interview myself so I hope I am not spreading false rumors, but I have heard that Yarros is ending her books in a W formation.

Fourth Wing ended on a high note with us discovering Brennan was alive.

Iron Flame ended on a low note when Xaden turning venin.

Onyx Storm ended on a semi-high note…I guess??… with Violet and Xaden married though I am very much not semi-happy in the slightest.

Which means book 4 is due to end on a low note. But…how can it get worse? I do not think we’re losing the big 5—Violet, Xaden, Andarna, Tairn, or Sgaeyl in book 4. Maybe the venin end up winning a war? Violet gets abducted? What are your thoughts?

I am quite honestly scared to post this because two years from now I am sure I’ll stumble across this post and slap past ViolentOrange for daring to ask such a question.
