I need to know why Ethan does this

During ad breaks whenever Ethan is doing an ad for Mood or Adam and Eve he always spells out “dot c-o-m”. He even apologized one time after accidentally saying “dot com”. I need know why he does this. It must be something to do with these sites being geared toward adult fun and the YouTube algorithm not liking ads for 18+ services and companies. But still why? I need to know. I can’t stay silent any longer.
