Baby question

I got a little baby hognose like 2 months ago and since then I’ve been seeing people say they should start out in baby bins. My boy has eaten once since then and has been refusing food since. He’s in a 20 gallon long with lots of cover and hiding spots, but would a smaller bin get him to eat more regularly?
