Women Hygeine help

I’m not the greatest at the forum first time poster. I was diagnosed with BV was told to see if it cleared up if not call first meds. i called never got meds and gave up. I still have issues like i did originally but it’s always been like that so would this be chronic BV or just poor hygiene? I do wash how you’re supposed to nothing inside and no scents but still have issues. HELP please
