How much would loss on SL/2S/GEN services increase if they were run as AC, but with the same fares?
I haven't been able to find a satisfactory answer relating to the OPEX difference between a non-AC and AC Coach.
So I was wondering, suppose on a specific origin-destination pair on a train, IR loses Rs. 100 per SL passenger due to the low fares(purely hypothetical number). Now, if said SL coaches of this train were to be converted to an AC coach, keeping the capacity the same, how much would the loss increase, keeping the same fares. Would it be 150, 200, or something more, or something less?
